Under the general Massachusetts framework, the first four hours are usually free and most later hourly work is capped at $25, though current law and the agency’s estimate control.

Choose the Record Holder

Different offices create different parts of an arrest and custody history, so route the question by record type.

  • Use the home guide for the official booking-photo, police-log, PCCF custody, and record-request paths.
  • Use Most Wanted and the issuing court clerk for wanted information or a warrant concern. Do not rely on a private warrant site.
  • Ask Brockton, Plymouth, or Bridgewater Police for that department’s incident report or municipal log.
  • Use Massachusetts DOC and VINE for a person sentenced to state prison, not for an ordinary PCCF booking.
  • Use the Bureau of Prisons locator for federal prison custody and the ICE locator for qualifying immigration detention. Neither is a PCCF photo feed.

Edward O’Connell is the sheriff’s Public Information Officer at (508) 830-6315 for professional source-verification questions. None of these contacts turns an accusation into a conviction. Check the appropriate court for the final disposition.
